Where are Love Sadler Gate events held?

Love Sadler Gate events take place along Sadler Gate, in Blacksmith's Yard and The Strand Arcade. Please refer to individual event listings on our events page or social media for precise locations.

Are Love Sadler Gate events held outdoors?

Love Sadler Gate events feature a mix of indoor and outdoor activities depending on the specific event. Please check the event details on our events page or social media for the most accurate information.

Is Sadler Gate accessible?

Sadler Gate, Blacksmith’s Yard and the Strand Arcade are pedestrianised making them easily accessible for pedestrians and those using wheelchairs or mobility aids. However, some of the older buildings and shop entrances may have small steps, as does one end of the Strand Arcade. For wheelchair users needing access to the Strand Arcade, the easiest route is via The Strand. Simply turn left at the bottom of Sadler Gate to reach the arcade entrance.

Are the events family-friendly?

Yes, Love Sadler Gate events are generally family-friendly. However, please check the event description for specific age recommendations or restrictions.

Are dogs allowed?

Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome at our outdoor events. Please be mindful of other visitors and ensure you clean up after your pet. Individual businesses may have their own pet policies.

The nearest car parks to Sadler Gate are:

Is Sadler Gate pedestrianised?

Yes! Sadler Gate is a pedestrian-only street between 10 am and 5 pm daily. Additionally, during all Love Sadler Gate events, the street remains pedestrianised for the duration of the event, even if it extends beyond 5 pm.

Will there be food and drink available?

Yes, Sadler Gate is home to numerous eateries and bars. plus, many of our events feature food and drink stalls from local vendors.

How can I become a vendor at Love Sadler Gate events?

Interested vendors should complete the form available on our Get in Touch page. Please be aware that submitting this form does not guarantee a booking. Your application will be reviewed, and we will contact successful applicants with further information.

What types of vendors are you looking for?

We are looking for vendors offering unique, high-quality products and services that align with the character of Sadler Gate and specific event we are holding.

I'd like to promote my business or event at the market, is this possible?

Our markets are curated to offer a relaxed and enjoyable experience. We prioritise stalls showcasing artisan goods and engaging interactive activities to ensure the best possible experience for our visitors. While we currently do not permit promotional stalls or leafleting, we may explore opportunities for community promotion at future events.

What are the vendor fees?

Vendor fees vary depending on the event. Please refer to the vendor application form for specific details.

What are the setup and breakdown times?

Setup and breakdown times will be provided in your event Terms and Conditions. Please adhere to the specified times to ensure a smooth event.

Is power provided?

Electrical points are not available for outdoor pitches. Please ensure any lighting or equipment used outdoors is battery-powered. If you are located within a host venue, electrical outlet availability is at the venue's discretion. If permitted, all electrical equipment must be PAT tested.

Is vehicle access allowed on Sadler Gate for setup and take down?

To ensure the safety of vendors and our volunteers, vehicles are not permitted on the street for setup or take down. Drop off points are available at the top and bottom of Sadler Gate.

What insurance is required for vendors?

All vendors must have up to date public liability insurance (minimum £2,000,000), without this you cannot trade.
